This is so therapeutic. I think after this class is over, I am going to continue. I feel that I get a release similar to counseling after writing a post that ties into a life event that I am going through. So because I love this so much, I thought that I would share a list of things I do to relax and get things off of my mind when I am trying to process and deal with something going on in my life.

1. Journal- Keep your thoughts and feeling documented. It can be really helpful when you go to a doctor appointment and can look back on your emotions so you are being truthful with your health care provider.

2. Take a bath- Needless to say, it is relaxing, warm, and quiet. Sometimes it is nice to relax with your thoughts while having essential oils in the air to help clear your mind.

3. Call your best friend- UHM me everyday. I call my best friend every day all day. It is so important to have someone who has your full history and can offer guidance and support but also have the trust to tell you that you are in the wrong and need to grow up and realize that you are being stupid.

4. Watch a movie- Sometimes our thoughts are bad. Watching a movie keeps your mind busy with falling a plot so you don't think about your hardships. AMAZING!

What are some things you guys do to cope with stress?
