Is College Worth It?

In short, YES!
I am the first to tell you that I hate college more than anyone else. I have hated education my entire life. Ironically, if they got paid more, I would want to be a high school English teacher. Now why in the world would a person who hates the education system to its core want to be employed by that same system? Well it is simple, I like to learn and teach.
Yes, college is a place where learning occurs. However the learning is so subjective and professors teach from their perspective instead of giving both sides of the argument, that it, in a sense, feels like I am being brainwashed.
I will say that I am thankful for college because I have been able to meet people from all over the world and I have also gotten to build relationships with professors that I can now call friends.
I don't know. I feel that having a degree doesn't make you stand out anymore. Everyone has a Bachelors degree these days. So does that mean I need to get a masters or doctorate to make my resume stand out? Probably. Will I go through all of that hard work and time to get those degrees? Yes.
I guess I am just at that point in the semester where school sucks and is a lot of work and I am not seeing the fruits of my labor and it makes me want to quit.
Does anyone else feel this way?
